Daily Texan on the Rally

As you may know, my brother came to visit over the weekend and we both went to this rally, which was fun. The Daily Texan has a poorly written brief article about it in today's paper. We were there to protest a whole hell of a lot more than the new pledge and the moment of silence. Also, Terry McDonald is the chairman of the Metroplex Atheists, and he was quoting Senator Jackass Dan Patrick when he said, "This senate stands for Judeo-Christian values." And a couple of village idiots have shown up in the comments (I called Godwin's Law on the first). I'm flying solo today, so the second will have to wait until I'm off. I've already spent too much time on this post and I've got work to do. In the meantime, maybe you'd like to post a comment. Have fun.
