Patriotism
In his concluding remarks about the most recent Ahistorical garbage from the producers of Expelled, PZ Myers had this to say:
I was reminded of something Sinclair Lewis once said: "When fascism comes to America, it will be wrapped in a flag and carrying a cross." And one Google search later I had found a suitable image for my first motivational poster.
Don't you just love how they wrap themselves in the flag, the bill of rights, and the first amendment while trying to force their religious ideology into the schools? Patriotism really is the last refuge of the scoundrel.
